Sarajevo Airport

Sarajevo International Airport is the main international airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. More information about the airline companies and ways to reach the airport please access the airport website
https://sarajevo-airport.ba. A taxi ride from the city centre to the airport lasts approximately 20-30 min depending on the traffic and may cost about 25 to 40km. Usually it is enough time to arrive 1.30 hours in advance, however for early morning flights, security gates open closer to 5am.

Sometimes in wintertime some flights are delayed or cancelled due to fog, smog or both. Sarajevo has high air pollution levels during winter and there is no guarantee all flights can land on some days.
