Public Transportation

Sarajevo’s public transportation network includes trams, trolleybuses, minibuses, buses, and trains operated by two separate companies: the public enterprise GRAS and the private company CENTROTRANS. It is important to note that each mode of transport (eg tram, bus, trolleybus) requires a specific ticket for that mode of transport.

The Sarajevo government has launched the JavniPrevozKS app to improve access to public transportation. Available in English, it provides timetables for trams, trolleybuses, and buses (for both GRAS and CENTROTRANS), allows users to track arrivals, and enables online ticket purchases and scanning for entry. The app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
