Activities for Kids

Sarajevo offers a fantastic range of extracurricular activities for children of all ages and interests. Whether your child wants to explore music, sports, or the arts, there’s something to spark every curiosity. For young musicians, there are several schools offering lessons in piano, guitar, and more. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy everything from tennis and swimming to ice hockey.Families will also find plenty of playcentres, parks, and playgrounds both in the city and nearby. Weekends tend to get busy—especially from 11 AM onward; so arriving early means more space for kids to run, play, and enjoy freely.

Music classes

Here are some schools to explore:

My children started guitar lessons with the Stari Grad team at School and School. Their teacher, Amila, is fantastic—she speaks English, has a great teaching style, and really knows how to inspire kids. Highly recommended!
